Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move to the club this summer.
He has been linked with Italian club Napoli and the Blues have already set a price for him. According to Ben Jacobs, Chelsea will not accept his departure for less than 40 million euros.
Napoli were hoping to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy for around 30 million Euros. However, this proposal will be rejected. It will be interesting to see if Napoli come back with an improved offer for the player.
The 31-year-old striker was on loan at Roma last season and scored 21 goals in all competitions. He would be a quality acquisition for Napoli.
The Italian outfit are likely to lose Victor Osimhen this summer and Lukaku would be a suitable replacement for the Nigerian international. He has settled in well in Serie A and could make an immediate impact at Napoli. He has played under Napoli Antonio Conte in the past and knows well the philosophy of the Italian player. Lukaku helped Conte win the league title with Inter Milan and the manager knows his potential.

The striker is at the peak of his abilities and could replace Osimhen if the 25-year-old decides to move on. He has the quality of forgiveness and investment.
