Golf Business News – Cabot adds Golf Du Médoc to growing international portfolio
The Cabot Collection, a Canadian-owned developer and operator of luxury golf resorts and residences, has announced the acquisition of Golf Du Médoc Resort in France.
The estate, now known as Cabot Bordeaux, extends over 400 hectares of vineyards and French countryside near Bordeaux.
For Cabot, which owns resorts in Canada, the USA, the Caribbean and Scotland, this is the first investment in continental Europe.

Cabot Bordeaux features two 18-hole championship courses designed by Bill Coore and Rod Whitman, and includes a 79-room hotel, restaurant, pool and spa.
The Bernard Pascassio Training Center features a golf simulation studio, short game practice facility, and TaylorMade club fitness facilities.
Under the management of current general manager Vincent Paris, the resort will be renovated with updated design features while preserving its historic charm.
Cabot says future guests 'can expect immersive experiences, new destination-specific activities, expanded services and an unwavering commitment to quality synonymous with the Cabot brand.
The interior design renovation will be carried out by UK-based design firm Russell Sage Studio.

The Cabot Group includes Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, Cabot Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, Cabot Revelstoke in British Columbia, Cabot Citrus Farms in Florida and Cabot Highlands in Scotland.
