Arsenal are always in the market for a winger but may have to sell first

Arsenal are in the market for a winger as they look to add depth to their attack with reports suggesting that any move could be dependent on players being sold.

The Gunners have started the season with two wins from two and managed to win at Villa Park last weekend in what could be their first title showdown.

It has been a quiet summer for Mikel Arteta's side with only Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino arriving at the Emirates, but they have also managed to move a number of players.

Arsenal are still in the market for a winner

The Gunners have agreed terms with Southampton for Aaron Ramsdale, while Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah have joined Fulham and Crystal Palace respectively.

It was thought that Arsenal would sign the centre-back but after strong interest in Benjamin Sesko at the start of the summer, it seems that Arteta will stick to his choices of Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz.

Arsenal can do it by supporting Saka in the team.

One area where Arsenal seem to have ease is in the wide positions, particularly with support for Bukayo Saka and The Telegraph have reported that the Gunners are in the market for a striker to add depth to the attack.

The report claims that any move could be dependent on player sales, with Reiss Nelson a possible move forward, and is thought to have attracted interest from West Ham.

Arsenal currently have Saka, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli as their options in wide areas, while Jesus can do the job in an area that clearly lacks depth.

With so little time left in the window any move will have to be made quickly, but it seems Arteta is happy with the squad he has, and Arsenal will be hoping it's third time lucky under the Spaniard and they can end their wait. more than 20 years to get the Premier League title.
