Nick Faldo recalled his famous Ryder Cup hole-in-one at the Belfry as he enjoyed hosting duties at the iconic venue for the 2024 British Masters this week.
Faldo six-putted the 14th at the Belfry for an ace during the 1993 Ryder Cup.
The Englishman came out without a championship win at the Belfry but still has that memorable hole in one in the memory bank.
Faldo twice won the Open Championship at Muirfield and claimed another home title at St Andrews. He won his only British Masters title at Woburn in 1989, the same year he captured his first of three Masters green jackets.
He has been the tournament manager at the Belfry since 2023.
The 1967 British Masters event provided British television with its first live hole-in-one, as Tony Jacklin aced the 16th hole at Royal St George's.
