Memphis Grizzlies forward GG Jackson II will undergo surgery after sustaining a foot injury on August 27.
Jackson II experienced an unstable landing on his right foot while attempting to tackle an opponent during a game outside of Dallas. The next photo revealed a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
The 19-year-old rookie will undergo surgery on Wednesday, September 4. The Grizzlies will provide an update after the procedure.

Last season, Jackson averaged 14.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 25.7 minutes per game.
