UX reacts as Casemiro's crisis phase helps Liverpool beat Man Utd

Normal mistakes cost Manchester United and as they went down they lost 3-0 to their rivals Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils enjoyed this fixture last season, beating the Merseysiders on their way to FA Cup glory, but were unable to improve as two costly errors from Casemiro allowed Luis Diaz to score a brace. Mohamed Salah later got into the act, curling in from Andre Onana's near post, to wrap up all three points for Arne Slot.

At first, Trent Alexander-Arnold thought he had scored and went all Steven Gerrard when he kissed the camera after getting to the back post to shoot, but Salah had been listening for a while and the strike was stopped.

However, United were unable to find much of a rhythm, and midfielder Casemiro did not prove useful. The Brazilian was at fault as the Reds scored twice before the break, with Luis Diaz scoring twice.

His poor pass was hit by Ryan Gravenberch and Diaz was quick to catch the ball from Salah's backward cross.

Fast forward to a few minutes later and Diaz robbed Casemiro in another dangerous area and finished well to assist Salah, heading the ball into the bottom corner.

New signing Manuel Ugarte could replace Casemiro in Erik ten Hag's starting XI but United were unable to get a goal back despite the Brazilian subbing for youngster Toby Collyer at the break. Instead, it was Liverpool who extended their lead.

Salah has often punished United in the past and he did the same on Sunday, converting well after Dominik Szoboszlai headed home to score his 15th goal against the Old Trafford outfit.

United have now slumped to their second Premier League defeat in as many games after Sunday's defeat, while Liverpool have recorded nine points so far to stay level at the top along with reigning champions Manchester City.
