Arsenal midfielder Trossard has been linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad have made a £29.5million bid for Arsenal midfielder Leandro Trossard, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The Saudi Pro League transfer window closes later today, allowing teams to pick up any unwanted players from Europe's major leagues.
That doesn't apply to Trossard who remains an integral part of Mikel Arteta's squad.
The Belgian started Arsenal's first two games of the season – against Wolves and Aston Villa – on the bench, but made an impact at the end, coming on in the 65th minute to grab the Gunners' opening goal as they went on to a 2-0 win at Villa Park.
His celebrations after scoring the goal were noticeably muted, with Arteta admitting afterwards that it was due to frustration at being left out of the starting XI.
Trossard was brought back into Saturday's game against Brighton but was withdrawn after 59 minutes and Arteta had to make another substitution following the sending off of midfielder Declan Rice.

Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for a reported fee of £20million with £7m in potential add-ons.
And the 29-year-old was a key part of the side that needed to settle for a second-place finish behind Manchester City in the Premier League.
