The best golf courses in the US under $100, divided by region

Looking for an affordable bucket list course to add to your itinerary? Our new list has you covered. On Wednesday, we published our first-ever list of America's best golf courses to play for $100 or less, with the exception that they're accessible to the public and offer high season weekend rates under $100.

Let's be clear: these lessons are no slouches.

You can walk Wild Horse Golf Club in Nebraska for $75 max, and it also came in at No. 49 in GOLF's latest ranking of the top 100 public courses. George Wright in Massachusetts, a 1938 Donald Ross design, also made both lists. It is $62 for the maximum cost of travel and is ranked as the 59th best public course. We could go on. Bethpage Red and the Warren Course at Notre Dame? Yes, they make both lists, too.
