The clubs and equipment that powered Matt Wallace to win his first DP World Tour title in five years

Matt Wallace used a mixed but straightforward bag to claim his first DP World Tour title in five years when he won the Omega European Masters in Switzerland.
Wallace uses a Ping G430 LST driver – a 10.5˚ model that helped him finish 12th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee and eighth in Driving Accuracy over four rounds in the Alps. He used a Titleist TSR3 driver for his 2023 season.
When it comes to his fairway woods, he uses a 16.5˚ TaylorMade Qi10 Tour.
The 34-year-old uses a Titleist TSR2 with 18˚ of loft to make his only hybrid in the bag. He replaced his Titleist T200 utility iron (2) with an 18 degree Titleist TSR2 hybrid earlier this term.
Wallace also uses a full set of 2021 Callaway X Forged CB irons, from four to nine – these remain the same since he first put them in the 2022 KLM Open. He doesn't use a 3 iron at all.
Like many other players on the Pro Tours including British Masters winner Niklas Nørgaard, he is banking on Titleist Vokey SM10's for his wedges, with 46, 50 and 54 degrees of loft and the SM10-WW Proto on 60˚.
He completes his bag with the Titleist Scotty Cameron Tour Only T-9 putter, from their 2024 range.
Wallace uses a 2023 Titleist Pro V1 X ball.
“I'm a low spin player so I always try to get as much as I can,” Wallace said of the ball.
“We play on hard greens here on the PGA Tour. It is very important that my self-esteem numbers do not drop too much. I play the Pro V1x because it gave me, launch, spin, control, more distance from the tee, without losing finesse and accuracy around the greens. “
The win in Switzerland gave him the first shot at joining Luke Donald's Ryder Cup team in Bethpage, which he says inspired him to set new goals.
“I needed something like a change in the Ryder Cup points list to focus more,” he said.
“Every week now, hopefully, it will be like this week.”
