New Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick “really believes in Austin Reaves,” according to NBA insider Brian Windhorst.
Windhorst shared this insight on the Hoop Collective Podcast, emphasizing that Redick plans to give Reaves significant opportunities on the court.
Reaves, entering his fourth season with the Lakers, had a breakout year in the 2023-24 season, averaging 15.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.
The 26-year-old guard signed a four-year, $53.8 million contract last season, making him an important part of the Lakers' future.
