In 2019, Megan Simmons made an important decision that would shape the future of her golf career. Originally signing a full scholarship with the University of Oklahoma, he chose to pass up the opportunity to pursue the PGA route. Reflecting on this, Megan said, “It was the best decision I ever made, and I've never looked back.”
Megan's journey began as an assistant golf professional at Purley Downs Golf Club in Surrey, where she honed her skills while completing her PGA certification. At the age of 23, he not only passed his PGA but also got a great opportunity to work in Dubai at The Track Meydan. His talent and dedication quickly caught the attention of industry leaders, which led to his headhunting at Montgomery Golf Club in Dubai.
REPRESENTING ENGLAND
Throughout her career, Megan has demonstrated incredible enthusiasm, adaptability, and tenacity, whether in her academic or coaching roles. He has represented England at world championships and competed at regional level, gaining extensive experience teaching players of all ages and abilities. Megan is dedicated to introducing more and younger women to the game of golf, making it a welcoming environment for them to succeed.
At Montgomery Golf Club, Megan launched the Ladies Par 3 event, designed to bridge the gap between introductory golf courses and club competition for women's play in the region. Her innovative approach has been instrumental in making golf accessible and enjoyable for women.

Megan's coaching philosophy focuses on setting achievable goals and maintaining a simple, yet effective approach to the game.
