Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG) they followed up the 2023 release of the Xtreme golf ball with modified Tour and Tour X versions.
They say the new golf balls deliver improved durability and playability to meet the needs and preferences of golfers of all abilities.
PXG founder Bob Parsons hopes the new balls complement the customization options the company has become famous for in recent years.
“The launch of our first golf ball was a huge success,” said PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons. “Now, we're taking it to the next level with the introduction of the PXG Tour and Tour X golf balls. With these options, golfers can be confident and choose the ball that best suits their playing style and performance goals.”
Xtreme Tour golf balls boast a thin, durable urethane cover and expanded core, delivering high quality and performance at the tour level. This improved design promises a softer feel, lower spin, and more penetration compared to the Xtreme Tour X, making it an ideal option for players looking for higher distance with an incredible feel.
The Xtreme Tour X golf balls feature the same construction. However, the new design delivers a firmer feel, more spin, and a higher trajectory than the Xtreme Tour, making it a rare choice for players looking for greater distance and more stopping power from their irons and wedges.
Three-part construction
Both golf balls feature three-piece construction. The high coefficient of restitution (COR) polybutadiene core is designed for high-speed performance, while the tough ionomer mantle layer also increases speed at a higher distance from the tee. The soft yet incredibly tough urethane outer cover on these balls maximizes spin on the green grip.
In addition, the Xtreme Tour and Xtreme Tour X golf balls present a seamless 338 dimple pattern designed to deliver aerodynamic features, increasing distance with the driver while producing a high trajectory with optimal spin from irons and wedges.
These balls are available in a very bright white color, and based on customer feedback, the Xtreme Tour golf balls are also available in yellow.
Founded by entrepreneur and self-proclaimed golf expert Bob Parsons, PXG embodies his belief that every new product – from golf clubs to sportswear – should be dramatically better. Every innovation should improve your performance significantly. And every moment of impact should raise your happiness.
Time will tell if they live up to expectations but PXG is willing to stake its reputation on any new piece of equipment.
