The Los Angeles Lakers have waived two-point guard Blake Hinson, according to a report from NBA insider Michael Scotto.
Hinson joined the Lakers after going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft and signed a two-way contract on July 5.
Despite his strong college resume, including being named first-team All-ACC in his final season in Pittsburgh, Hinson's time with the Lakers was short-lived.
Scotto's report indicated that Hinson's shooting abilities, especially beyond the arc, impressed several teams following the draft.
