Shaq has responded to suggestions that he is the secret boyfriend of Instagram influencer Maria Ozuna Teachey, after posting a photo that looks just like the former Lakers executive.
On Tuesday, promoter Teachey posted a photo with a man and asked fans to guess who it was.
The man in the picture walks past Teachey and puts his hands on her breasts. His face is not visible in the photo. He captioned it, “For not forgiving us… Can you guess who's walking? #I love you.”
He has since been demoted.
Of course, NBA Twitter had a field day with the post and came to the conclusion that the man in the photo was Shaq.
But he strongly denied it.
“No not a baby,” O'Neal said in a post on WorldStar's Instagram page, according to TMZ.
He also doubled down and did his own thing on Instagram, where he flirted with many women in the same style as the photo in question.
“Is this my girlfriend, trust me, I will let you know who my wife is, and my female name is Shaqirah,” he said.
In the following post, you quote famous quotes from the movie Training Day and captioned it, “I'll let you know when I'm in love.”
However, Teachey called out the Lakers big man for lying.
In the screenshot of the teaser – which no longer appears on his Instagram page but was released by The Shadow Room – the promoter wrote: “Come on Kid, it was time. Why lie to man (sic)… I'm done.”
He also shared now-deleted photos and videos of Shaq's hotel room, with one showing him lying on a couch and the last video showing Shaq performing in front of a large crowd.
