Golf Business News – Golf England has been shortlisted for three Sports Business Awards

England Golf has been nominated in three categories for the 2024 Sports Business Awards, with the winners to be announced at a ceremony in London on November 29.

England Golf is listed as a finalist Sports Governing Body of the Yeari Sports Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Awardonce Sports Innovation Award.

Golf England Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Tomlinson said: “For England to be shortlisted for three more prestigious awards is a testament to everyone who works at the organization and the amazing volunteers who support great golf programmes.

“As more than 7 million people play golf in many ways in this country, we want everyone to feel welcome, at whatever level or place they wish to play. We believe there is a seamless way for people to not only get into golf, but develop socially and competitively in the way they want to in the sport.

“We continue to take important steps in changing long-standing perceptions of golf, by providing support for clubs, regions and institutions to achieve strong goals of equality, diversity and inclusion, welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, and reaching out to more. people than ever before.
