Cobra introduces King Black Edition Tour irons – Golf News
The King Tour, originally introduced in chrome, now has a solid black metal that separates sunlight, while also providing greater resistance to wear.
The Tour edition instruments combine softer feel and playability with improved distance and forgiveness. The key to improved forgiveness and optimal performance is the CNC cutouts in the back hole of each iron, which allow weight to be repositioned from the top to the bottom center as well as the heel and toe areas of the clubhead, creating improved launch conditions and more forgiveness when off. – center hits.
These holes progress from deeper in the long irons for improved stability to deeper in the shorter irons for improved control. To improve the feel, each CNC undercut is filled with a soft TPU material and filled with an aluminum medal joint, which dampens vibrations with a more pleasant sound and tactile sensation.
The tour model also has 2° stronger lofts than Cobra's CB & MB irons at a blast distance from the face.
They are available in 3-GW (RH/LH), while the stock set is offered in 4-PW with RH only. LH sets are available for custom orders only.
Limited edition black Lamkin Crossline grips and limited edition KBS $-Taper steel shafts with a black PVD finish on the flex come as standard.
RRP: £1,129/7-piece set.
