NHL Injuries: Blackhawks, Devils, Rangers, Penguins, Sharks, Leafs, Canucks, and Golden Knights

Ben Pope: Chicago Blackhawks forward Taylor Hall's knee is holding up so far. He will be under load management during his season and will not be on the ice for more than four days in a row.

Hall: “Knowing that, at my age, the injury rate goes up when guys are tired and overworked, it's important to remember that.”

NHL Rumors: There's a Gap, and Could Jeremy Swayman Consider a Trade?

Mike Morreale: New Jersey Devils defenseman Brett Pesce remains day-to-day and could be ready for his home opener on October 10th against the Maple Leafs.

“I just discussed with everyone that they might be ready when they open our home (Oct. 10). He goes day by day, but we know he's on the ice, he's skiing, he's with the rest of our team and they get a repeat.”

Vince Z. Mercogliano: The New York Rangers were off the ice yesterday so there was no update on forward Artemi Panarin. It still sounds like they pulled him over for safety reasons and it wasn't serious.

Wes Crosby: Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Forward Blake Lizotte is out permanently with a concussion. He took a puck to the face over the weekend.

Defenseman Erik Karlsson skated solo for the second straight day. He has been working day-to-day since the start of training camp due to a physical injury.

Max Miller: San Jose Sharks forward Macklin Celebrini is living day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

“We're taking this day by day,” Warsofsky said. “I know it's a broken record, but we'll see how he feels tomorrow and tomorrow, and then we'll make a decision when we get there (the regular season opener) on Thursday.”

Mark Masters: Toronto Maple Leafs forward Connor Dewar and defenseman Jani Hakanpaa were on the ice yesterday wearing custom jerseys.

NHL Rumors: Doesn't Sound Like Bruins Plan to Trade Jeremy Swayman

Brendan Batchelor: Vancouver Canucks coach Rick Tocchet said forward Pius Suter is dealing with a daily physical injury.

SinBin.vegas: Vegas Golden Knights coach Bruce Cassidy said forward William Karlsson was out yesterday morning and that was a step in the right direction. I'm not sure if he'll be ready for opening night.
