The third round of the 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship ends Sunday, October 6, at the Country Club of Jackson. You can find full Sanderson Farms times for Sunday's final round at the bottom of this post.

“Cashmere” Keith Mitchell has his priorities straight.

After tying 15 holes in the third round of the Sanderson Farms Championship, Mitchell looked at a fan and asked him to update him on the afternoon's college football slate.

The 32-year-old veteran then birdied the final two holes at the Country Club of Jackson to move to 20 under and take a one-shot lead into Sunday's final round.

Asked how he will prepare for the final round, Mitchell once again turned to football.

“I really need to plan my golf game,” he jokingly told the Golf Channel.

He will have plenty of time to do that Sunday as he will play Beau Hossler in the final round, looking for his second PGA Tour victory, but not until 2:20 pm ET. You can watch Sunday's third round of the Sanderson Farms Championship on Golf Channel beginning at 3:30 pm ET.
