Golf Business News – Drybox partners with TGL

TGL presented by SoFi, the new team golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TMRW Sports, has announced Dryvebox as its mobile golf simulator partner.

The partnership uses Drivebox's leading golf simulators to enhance fan engagement and expand TGL's reach as the league approaches its inaugural season, which begins January 7 in prime time on ESPN and ESPN+.

Adeel Yang, founder and CEO of Dryvebox, said: “The partnership with TGL presented by SoFi and its teams is a milestone for Dryvebox. We share the same goal of making golf more accessible to everyone by continuing the growth that technology and other innovations have brought to the game,” said Yang. “We like to create unique opportunities for fans to experience the joy of golf while removing many barriers to entry.”

Regina O'Brien, CMO of TMRW Sports, added: “Dryvebox's new approach to making golf more accessible complements TGL's introduced SoFi vision of functional technology to create a modern approach to the game.

“This partnership allows us to expand our SoFi Center brand and engage fans with the Dryvebox version of technology-driven golf. As we build momentum for the launch of the league in January and beyond, we look forward to all six teams using Dryvebox to connect with their communities to continue building their fan base.”

Dryvebox's collection of state-of-the-art golf simulators allows TGL to provide an immersive golf experience at a variety of events and venues. Among the teams, Dryvebox already has custom-built branded trailers at Los Angeles Golf Club, Boston Common Golf, and The Bay Golf Club for use throughout the season.

Dryvebox mobile emulators can be used almost anywhere

Additionally, it has brought custom-branded trailers to events with Atlanta Drive Golf Club and the league for past and future events. Through this partnership in 2024, Dryvebox has worked on several PGA Tour events this season, including the Genesis Invitational, Travelers Championship, TOUR Championship, JM Eagle LA Championship and FM Championship.

Dryvebox, founded in 2020, currently has 31 golf trailers operating in the US and Canada, and the company has doubled in size since January.

Using Full Swing's Pro 2.0 simulators and Full Swing KIT Studio launch monitors, Dryvebox has partnered with Full Swing to outfit the boxes with Full Swing Golf's proprietary software. Full Swing is the Official Partner of TGL presented by SoFi and provides most of the technology mix required for the scale of TGL's technology-equipped playground at the SoFi Center.
