5 reasons to try the TaylorMade Tour Response Stripe golf ball

The TaylorMade Tour Response Stripe golf ball came out in 2022 and has become very popular.
It's a three-piece ball, compared to the TP5's five-piece, and there's a lot to like about it.
1) This is a ball aimed at the club golfer with an average fast swing speed.
A standout feature is the urethane cover similar to TaylorMade's premium balls. So you will notice a nice sound and a premium feeling and go around the green.
2) There is also the same dimple pattern found on the TP5. This is the first time this has been used in the Tour Response and includes a Speedmantle with HFM.
Simply put, this is a strong second layer that helps the ball explode off the face at a faster ball speed.
3) Visuals are different when it comes to alignment. Golf ball manufacturers have taken designs to new levels in recent years with more colors and tools to help you align and Stripe has an advanced visual technology called 360° ClearPath Alignment.
This is great to help you a) line up the putt and b) give you feedback to see if the putt ends up on the end. You can also use the line to line them up, help square the clubface up or set a draw or fade.
Where you may find it strange is from the fairway where the line may point away from the target but this is something you will get used to over time.
4) TaylorMade makes things very clear with their marketing spiel 'The Tour Response family is built around one goal: Tour-quality performance, at a fraction of the cost.'
The Stripe is £10 cheaper than TaylorMade's premium balls and there are four color options if green isn't your thing. And if Stripe isn't your thing there's also a simple white or yellow option.
5) This is a very versatile ball, striking a great balance between distance, swing and feel making it ideal for intermediates.
With a compression ratio of around 70 (TP5 is around 87), it works at medium swing speeds as it is easy to compress and produces good ball speed.
