Practice and repetition on the driving range will reap the rewards of better consistency while out on the course.

But once you get to the point where you have confidence in your swing, it's hard to make that little improvement.

One thing you can do away from the course is strength and conditioning training.

An upgrade in this area can allow you to get more distance on your drives and keep your 18-hole par.

Making positive changes to your body to be more active doesn't always require a gym membership and it can be affordable too.

All you need are two dumbbells to unlock endless exercises for golf-oriented strength and conditioning.

LIV golf stars Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are proof that strength and conditioning can change your game, with the former contenders winning seven majors between them.

The physical changes the pair made during their distance training completely changed the way they approached the game.

Their increased power has resulted in unprecedented levels of club-head speed, resulting in greater driving distances and the ability to take powerful tee shots.

Although you may not be able to achieve miracles like these experts, the goal remains the same.

Golf is a game of good margins, and finding small areas where you can improve in every statistic will show on your scorecard.
