Golf Business News – Shot Scope moves HQ to larger offices
Golf technology company Shot Scope has moved its headquarters to a larger location outside Edinburgh to accommodate a growing workforce after a successful $8.5 million Series B funding round.
With new additions to the management team, sales department, and support staff, a larger headquarters was needed.
Shot Scope CEO David Hunter said: “We are delighted to announce that Shot Scope is moving to our new office premises. The company has grown globally over the past two years, with customers in over 160 countries. This move allows us to continue our ambitious growth plans to serve customers around the world from the Home of Golf here in Scotland. ”
Scottish Enterprise has been a key partner in Shot Scope's journey from the start, supporting the company from start-up to global product by providing a range of support, including £1.75m of start-up capital and £3.3m of investment in the company.
Adrian Gillespie, the organisation's chief executive, was on hand to launch Shot Scope's new headquarters on November 6. He said: “Shot Scope is a great example of a Scottish business committed to developing new golf technology for the global market.
“With our help, the company is accelerating its international plans, hiring new talent to support its expansion, and developing its best products for new global markets. Its impressive new headquarters reflects that ambition and we look forward to continuing to support David and his formidable team in the future. “
To help with the company's 2025 expansion plans, the new headquarters will allow Shot Scope stockists and dealers to attend educational conferences. These events will allow employees to learn more about the brand's products, services, and software. This will improve their employees' understanding of the brand, increase product knowledge and sales force.
