Tottenham are willing to make an offer for Sebastian Szymanski

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Fenerbahce attacking midfielder Sebastian Szymanski.

The 25-year-old has had an impressive season with the Turkish club and has scored 13 goals and collected 19 assists in all competitions. He has a contract with Fenerbahce until 2027, but could move on this summer.

According to a report from Aslinda, Tottenham are looking to follow up their interest with a formal offer to sign the player. They can bring an offer of 20 million euros to the player.

It's no secret that Tottenham need more quality and depth in the middle of the park and Szymanski would be a quality acquisition. He will add goals and creativity to the Tottenham midfield. Furthermore, he is at the peak of his powers and could quickly settle in and make an immediate impact at the north London club.

Netherlands forward #11 Cody Gakpo (L) fights for the ball with Poland midfielder #20 Sebastian Szymanski during the UEFA Euro 2024 Group D soccer match between Poland and Netherlands at Volksparkstadion in Hamburg on June 16, 2024.

Szymanski may favor a Tottenham switch

The chance to play in the Premier League will be very attractive to him and Spurs will also be an interesting place. They have an ambitious project and a quality set of players. The Polish international will fancy his chances of doing well in the Premier League with Tottenham.

It remains to be seen if Fenerbahce are willing to approve his €20 million move. He has become a key player for them and they may look to demand a premium. He has a long-term contract with the club and, therefore, the Turkish outfit are under no pressure to sell him this summer. The only way Tottenham can secure his signature is if they can't secure a deal with the Turkish outfit.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few days.
