West Ham are very cautious as Edson Álvarez is suffering from a serious injury
West Ham United will have to be careful as midfielder Edson Álvarez leaves Saturday's Copa América match between Jamaica and Mexico at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
In the middle of a match between the two countries in ConcaCAF, Álvarez was moving back in defense to help stop an attack when he went down, favoring what appeared to be his hamstring.
Álvarez will be sent off in the 30th minute, and his participation in the Copa América tournament may be over.
