Darvin Ham Responds to AD's Bold Postgame Comments

It looks like Anthony Davis took a shot at the LA coaching staff after the Game 2 loss and Darvin Ham has responded.

After the Lakers lost 101-99 at the hands of the Nuggets, Davis said, “We showed that we are more than we can be. We have places where we don't know what we're doing on both ends of the floor.”

Davis' comments definitely came from a place of frustration, especially after the team thought that the man in charge of the game in the dying minutes was against it.

Lakers coach Ham was asked about AD's comments and downplayed them.

“I think sometimes games don't go the way you think they should,” Ham told the media on Wednesday after practice. “Frustration sets in slowly. But I don't think that, for us, it is unorganized. I think I have incredibly talented coaches on my entire staff and we take pride in them, whether it's practice or shootarounds, games, whatever, we take pride in being a high-performing organization. So I can just tell you that I'm devastated, you know it's an emotional game the way it ended and all that. But I will agree to disagree with that.”

Having a head coach and a star player 'disagree' on the eve of a very important game 3 is not fair.

A 3-0 defeat to the defending champions could mean your season is over.

The Lakers will at least get home court advantage in this game.
