Merida is announcing big news with the launch of the new Big.Trail today. We previously tested the Big.Trail in 2021 and were impressed with the ride quality in this budget package, but the 2024 launch includes a more capable bike than ever before, with a slacker 64 degree head tube angle, 29” wheels and increased reach . it increases the power of the bike and the fun factor.

The previous iteration of the Big.Trail was fantastic: the 65.5 degree head tube was perfect for throwing down, and it features internal cable routing, two bottle holders, trail-ready wheel exits, and a long dropper installation depth, allowing riders to get the perfect amount of riding characteristics. what they wanted.
Adding a steeper seat angle allows riders to feel more focused on the bike and more

The bike is offered in five sizes, with sizing ranging from small to large to extra short to extra tall, and has a low-over-height stance to allow riders to choose to size up or down based on geometry preference. The IX Short features a 150mm dropper, the short and medium sizes feature a 170mm dropper, while the Long measures up to 200mm and has a 230mm dropper post.
The bikes also now have neat cable routing with the Phone Port system, which has multiple cables
