Leicester key to Jadon Sancho sale

Man United are hoping to offload Jadon Sancho in this transfer window, and the new boys of the Premier League, Leicester City, can play a role in making sure that happens.

Sancho spent half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and helped guide the Bundesliga giants to the Champions League final at Wembley where they lost 2-0 to eventual champions Real Madrid.

It was thought that the former England international would go on loan on a permanent basis, although it appears that his transfer fee is very poor and Dortmund cannot afford him.

According to CaughtOffside's sources with knowledge of the current situation, Juventus are understood to be interested in taking Sancho to Serie A, but they are also believed to be in dire financial straits and will have to sell before they can buy.

This is where Leicester comes in.

Matias Soule moving to Leicester City could have a direct impact on Juventus' move to Man United ace, Jadon Sancho.

CaughtOffside sources know that the Foxes are ready to make an opening bid of £20-25m for Juve's Argentina international Matias Soule.

It may take a bit more for the Bianconeri to do business as they are expected to stick to 40 million euros.

There will likely be room for negotiation, however, as Juventus plan to use the proceeds from Soule's sale to acquire Sancho.

The rivals of Leicester running in the English top division, Crystal Palace, are also considering a request to get Soule as he is an option to replace Michael Olise, while Aston Villa and Newcastle United have received information about the Argentine midfielder, but they have not made an official request.

Man United will be hoping that Steve Cooper will arrive in Soule quickly so that he can move Sancho with little fuss.
