Keene Trace Golf Club offers members 36 holes of premier golf and amenities in the hills of Central Kentucky.

Champion Trace and Keene Run golf courses are just 15 minutes from downtown Lexington.

Keen Trace is a private golf club, but they are welcoming when it comes to member guests.

Keene Trace offers a unique club experience by combining two outstanding golf courses. Golfers of all skill levels are challenged by the impeccable course conditions. The stunning scenery and lovely horse farms in the background provide the perfect setting for training or entertaining.

Golfers can hone their skills in their newly remodeled short game sections, which are fully stocked for daily practice.

Members can use the heated, covered hitting areas at the High-Performance Golf Academy during the cooler months.

Members can play Championship golf or Keene Run seven days a week, without interruption.

Being an all-inclusive club, there are no additional charges for using a cart, green fees or access to the gym for members.

Additionally, members are not required to meet any annual food and beverage charges in addition to their regular membership fee.

Keene Trace's Professional Golf Staff is proud to offer the membership a calendar full of exciting golf events. They host many member events and tournaments every year.

How non-members can play Keene Trace Golf Club

Non-members of the club can play at Keene Trace, but they need to do so as an accompanied guest or as a sponsored guest.

Which means you need to play the course next to the member at their invitation or play the course without the member's sponsorship.

The club requires guest fees for green fees, cart fees, and food and beverage to be charged to a credit card or cash.

Lessons

The Champion Trace course at Keene Trace Golf Club was designed by world-renowned golf course designer Arthur Hills.

The course was created in 1987 by Tom Heilbron, former president and current member.

Although Arthur Hills left his mark in many places across the country, he is considered to have made a special impact on the Champion Trace in the late 1980s.

Champion Trace has been rated as one of the best courses in the state of Kentucky since it opened.

If you don't want the experience of a championship course you can always take in the scenery as you roam around the 208 acres of Keene Run, which is home to several horses.

Large greens, wide fairways, and a unique signature Par 3 are features of this course. Bent grass covers the fairways and greens of Keene Run, a course aimed at players of all skill levels.
