BRISTOL, Conn. The 2024 New England Collegiate League All-Star Game was a thrilling affair won by visiting East, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon at Muzzy Field. MVP honors went to Sanford catcher Colin Barczy (Vanderbilt), who drove in what proved to be the winning run with an RBI single in the first, pulling a 93 mph fastball into the left side of the infield. Barczi struggled in limited action as a freshman this spring, hitting .208 in 72 at-bats, but has been solid in the NECBL, hitting .388/.482/.642 with three homers, six doubles and -18 RBIs.[…]
