When and why did you start boxing?
I started boxing when I was 10 years old. It was becoming common to get red cards in football and my dad didn't have any so he dropped me off at the boxing gym.
Favorite fighter of all time?
Roberto Duran.
The best fight you've seen?
Leigh Wood vs Michael Conlan.
Highlighting personal activities?
Doing my first pro in front of all my family and friends. It received a suspension in the second round. It's hard to match that feeling.
Toughest opponent?
Liam Davies. Only guy has stopped me in 90 fights. I think I was 15 years old. It taught me a lot. There is no shame in losing to him, just look at what he has continued to do in this game.
Best and worst qualities as a boxer?
The best I can say is my strength. Too bad I like my food too much. That's the hardest part of making weight.
Training tips?
A little rich from me, because I hate training, but you get what you put in.
Favorite food and restaurant?
I love all food but if I had to choose one it would be Castle Cuisine Indian restaurant in my hometown of Newark.
Best friends in boxing?
Carl Greaves and my father. And my novice coach Joe Elliott did a lot to make me fight up and down the world, week in and week out, all for the love of it.
What other athlete would you like to be?
Roger Federer.
One thing you would change about professional boxing?
I'm actually not a big fan of boxing, I enjoy fighting. I know these YouTubers are ruining the game but it's all about the money I get.
Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Tom Hardy.
Have you ever wondered?
I met Joe Calzaghe when I was 12 years old. To cut a long story short, he got me a hot drink and a bag full of candy at the gas station. He also gave me good advice, which I have always had.
When was the last time you cried and why?
It wasn't too long ago, I don't mind crying.

I am a born again Christian. A big believer in Jesus.
