Men's second round in Paris

Hideki Matsuyama has advanced to the men's event for the 2024 Olympics.

The 2024 Olympic men's golf event continues on Friday with the second round at Le Golf National outside Paris. You can find the full men's Olympic Golf tee times for Friday's second round at the bottom of this post.

Former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama of Japan jumped into the lead at the start of the 2024 Olympic Golf men's event with eight players under 63.

That gives Matsuyama, who lost a playoff to a bronze medalist at the Tokyo Games, two shots to advance to Round 2. But the second-place finisher defends gold medalist Xander Schauffele.

Matsuyama plays in Friday's second round at Le Golf National at 5:44 am ET alongside Wyndham Clark and Tommy Fleetwood.
