Erik Spoelstra is the frontrunner to replace Steve Kerr as coach of Team USA, following Kerr's tenure.
Kerr is expected to step down after his tenure, replaced by a new leader ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Evan Sidery tweeted that Spoelstra, who was Kerr's assistant on the national team, is considered the strong inside favorite to take over.
