Malika Andrews' Amazing On-Air Response to Earthquake Viewers

Viewers were left stunned Monday when a 4.4-magnitude earthquake rocked the ESPN studio in Los Angeles during the NBA Today broadcast.

Host Malika Andrews, who was chatting with basketball analyst Rebecca Lobo when the quake struck, was remarkably unmoved.

That happened despite the earthquake being strong enough to shake the building and rattle the camera.

“We had a small earthquake here in Los Angeles,” he said calmly as the tremors began. “So we're going to make sure our studio lights are on… everything is always safe. Everything is shaking.”
