Chelsea have lowered their asking price for the Belgian attacker

Chelsea have had an eventful summer this year with Mauricio Pochettino leaving the club and Enzo Maresca arriving to take over.

The Blues have also worked in the transfer window to bring new players to the club.

Their money has been big and it is expected that many players will come to the club as many players are about to leave.

The Premier League giants are looking to offload the likes of Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja, Romelu Lukaku and several others.

They are so desperate to get rid of Lukaku that they are even willing to accept a fee lower than their valuation for the player, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Belgian striker has spent time away from the club on loan to Inter Milan and Roma but the Blues are looking for a permanent solution now.

Lukaku has been linked with a move to Italian giants Napoli this summer with Victor Osimhen coming to Stamford Bridge in a transfer and cash deal.

Romelu Lukaku is about to be sold by Chelsea.

Chelsea had to pay around £100m to sign Lukaku but are asking for €40m (£36.7m) to sell the player who has no future at the club.

The report revealed that the west Londoners are willing to accept less from the attacker, which shows how willing they are to get him out.

Romelu Lukaku is leaving Chelsea this summer

This player was made to train alone, not in the first team as his future was discussed.

Chelsea's need to sign a new striker and Napoli's interest in Lukaku could work in both teams' favour.

Signing Osimhen will be a huge upgrade for Lukaku as the Blues will get one of the best players in the world in his place.

Lukaku's move to Stamford Bridge failed miserably, but the best thing that can come out of it is that he can help them find Napoli striker Osimhen.
