The former Chelsea player has put a nail in his old team by scoring a goal that ended up defeating Manchester City 2-0.
Enzo Maresca has welcomed his old boss Pep Guardiola to Stamford Bridge as his side look to beat the Manchester giants in their opening game of the season.
But it was the visitors who opened the scoring with Erling Haaland pushing Marc Cucurella aside before slotting the ball into the far corner.
Manchester City then leveled the scores with a few minutes left on the clock when he fired the ball wide of the post after running through the middle of the pitch.
