American Lauren Coughlin picked up her second win in three starts after winning the Women's Scottish Open at Dundonald Links.
Coughlin, who won the Canadian Women's Open at the end of last month, entered the final day with a one-stroke lead over Scotland.
A closing three-under 69, including five birdies, was enough for the 31-year-old from Minnesota to secure her first title on the Ladies European Tour.
“Unbelievable,” Coughlin said. “Two wins out of three events is weird, but I just hung in there, tried to stay there as much as possible, and got the putts down at the end.
“If you would have told me at the beginning of the year that I would be in this position, I would not have believed it. How hard I worked to get here, and it's amazing.”
Coughlin didn't get off to a great start, with bogeys on the second and fourth holes, but he quickly bounced back with birdies on five and seven.
HENSELEIT AND SECOND FINISH
With Germany's Esther Henseleit closing the gap, Coughlin rolled back-to-back birdies on 14 and 15 to extend her advantage and give herself a three-stroke lead.
From then on, the American made good saves on 16 before birdieing 18 to take a four-stroke lead.
Henseleit, a silver medalist at the Paris Olympics, continued his good form by finishing second in Scotland after a final round of 70. The two-time LET winner had a solid front nine before making back-to-back birdies. at 10 and 11 to reduce Coughlin's profit.
The German dropped a shot at the 13th before rolling in another birdie at the 14th and finished second at 11-under.
Japan's Ayaka Furue and American Megan Khang finished the week tied for third at 9-under-par, with Charley Hull tied for fifth overall at eight under.
