INFINITUM, the 45-hole golf paradise on the Costa Dorada, has announced a major renovation of its famous Hills course that is set to cement the property's status as one of Spain's finest.
The par 72, 6,378-metre Hills course, designed by Alfonso Vidaor, will be redesigned by European Golf Design led by Dave Sampson, designer of the Marco Simone course in Rome for the 2023 Ryder Cup.
The work will start this December and during the first nine months of the renovation, players will be able to enjoy the course made up of the first nine holes of Hills and nine holes of Ruins, a unique structure designed by Greg Norman.
The second and final phase of the renovation will see the former nine holes of the Hills closed and is expected to continue in early 2026.
Among those to experience the Hills/Ruins hybrid short course will be some of Scandinavia's up-and-coming talents when the ECCO Tour of Denmark visits INFINITUM for the first time in winter 2025.
The news follows the announcement in February that the Lakes course – another Norman project that hosts the DP World Tour Qualifying School Final Stage every year near the Hills – is currently undergoing an €800,000 renovation project which will be ready and set for the arrival of hundreds. for DP World Tour hopefuls in November.
The three courses are complemented by a wide range of practice facilities, which have attracted training camps from national golf associations in Europe and were bolstered by the addition of the Callaway Fitting Studio last year.
