Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese scored 19 points and grabbed a game-high 20 rebounds in Sunday's 86-68 loss to the Phoenix Mercury, becoming the fastest in WNBA history to record a double-double. 20 doubles.

Through 27 WNBA games (all starts), Angel Reese is averaging 13.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.4 steals, and 31.9 minutes per contest while shooting 39.8% in the field, 20% in the 3rd grade, and 73.2%. at the free throw line.

However, Angel Reese seems to be learning at a faster pace than many other players.
On Friday night, Indiana Fever (13-15) rookie Caitlin Clark became the first WNBA player in history to record at least 50 points and 25 assists in any two-game stretch.
Chicago (11-16) won the first two games of the season series with the Mercury (15-13) – one game remaining next month. No. 8-seeded Sky are 1½ games behind the No. 7-ranked Fever in the standings.
