Many clubs are asking to sign Liverpool player Arne Slot who is his biggest fan

A number of clubs have now made moves to sign Liverpool midfielder Arne Slot, who is a huge fan of his, according to a recent report.

Slott's reign continued at its best as they cruised to a 2-0 win over Ipswich Town at Portman Road. Goals from Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah in the space of five minutes in the second half sealed the game and got the 2024/25 Premier League season off to a flying start.

As is well known, Liverpool are yet to move in this transfer window, despite their efforts to improve their squad. It has been a frustrating summer for the club as Liverpool adjust to life with new people at board level and a new manager in the dugout after a successful spell under Jurgen Klopp.

The club tried to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi last week, but the Spanish midfielder turned down the chance to move to England and will instead stay with the club in La Liga.

Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Valencia's goalkeeper, Giorgi Mamadashvili, and last week there were reports that they had agreed personal terms with the goalkeeper. This is said to be ahead of a deal that will see the Georgia international on loan for the next season or two before he comes to Liverpool to replace Alisson.

It has since been said that Liverpool may have the chance to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in this transfer window. TEAMtalk has reported that the England defender has fans at Anfield, and they may boycott Newcastle United's attempts to sign the player, especially if Joe Gomez leaves the club in the remaining time of this transfer window.

The club has already seen several key players leave this summer, with Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara leaving after their contracts expired. Liverpool also let Fabio Carvalho go to Brentford on a permanent basis last week, and it looks like the move may not end there.

Liverpool are receiving loan offers for midfielder Stefan Bajcetic

According to Football Insider, Liverpool have received advice from a number of clubs to take midfielder Stefan Bajcetic on loan for the 2024/25 season.

The report claims the Premier League side are “besieged” with offers for the player, who Slot is said to be a big fan of. The midfielder missed most of last season through injury, and having returned for selection, he could be on loan away from Anfield.

It goes on to add that Slot doesn't believe Bajcetic is ready to take the sixth spot in Liverpool's midfield as they continue to look for a more experienced option.

It is said that many Premier League clubs and European clubs have made inquiries about Bajcetic. A loan move will only happen for the midfielder if Liverpool can bring in a new midfielder themselves.

Bajcetic featured heavily in the club's pre-season this summer, with the 19-year-old hoping to add to his 22 appearances for the club so far.
