Nelly Korda looked like she was charging towards the history books when she birdied the 9th hole at the Old Course and recovered from two early bogeys in Round 3 to get to 9 under and open up a three lead. But then he made a couple of bogeys and hit his tee shot OB on No. 16 and stumbled home on the back-nine 40.

That opened up the leaderboard and Korda will enter the final round against Jiyai Shin (-7), a two-time winner of the event they call the “queen of the final round.”
