Philadelphia Union and Colorado Rapids will go head to head in the third place match of the Leagues Cup to decide who will enter the Concacaf Champions Cup next season.
The Union lost 3-1 in their semi-final against reigning MLS Cup champions and Eastern Conference foes Columbus Crew. Daniel Gazdag got the equalizer around 30 minutes into the match, but Diego Rossi grabbed his second of the night just before the break while Juan 'Cucho' Hernandez added a third early in the second half to seal the deal for the Crew.
On the other side of the matchup, the Rapids came out on top against LAFC, falling 4-0 at BMO Stadium. Despite having more of the ball, Colorado were unable to create many chances to threaten Hugo Lloris' goal as Mateusz Bogusz, Kei Kamara, Denis Bouanga and Lewis O'Brien were all on the scoresheet.
