The runaway leader of the Rolex Women's World Golf rankings, Nelly Korda, had a five-tournament winning streak earlier this season – a burst that is surprising except for those who have followed her progress over the past few years. The 13-time tour winner and two-time major champion – and 2020 Summer Olympics gold medalist – came out of the gate hot on the LPGA Tour, winning in his debut season as a 20-year-old in fall 2018.

Truth be told, Nelly was destined for greatness in sports, being the daughter of Czech tennis stars Petr Korda and Regina Rajchrtová. That DNA also runs through his LPGA star sister, Jessica, and his brother, Sebastian, a top-ranked tennis champion.

Nelly's style of skating is widely regarded as a model of excellence. In the event that he misses the green, here's how he executes that effectively with a no-nonsense chip swing. Copy his four key moves and move down and up the card on your next round.

1. Hands are strong

Nelly's hands are always close to her body because of the touch. Many rec players tend to “push” their hands in the direction of the target. Try to finish with the butt of the club close to your left pocket.

2. Throw it away

Nelly leans her wrists in the backswing and eases them down, as if she is “throwing” the clubhead at the ball. That little hand gesture gives short shots the finesse they need to get close.

3. Stay lean

Korda does a good job of maintaining the forward lean established at address until his follow through as he swings the ball. Keep your height like Nelly did.

4. Match the lines

Korda protects the top position on his club by avoiding swinging his left wrist, keeping the club's point more in line with the center line. Subtle, but very, very effective.
