Walt Frazier remembers a different kind of power in the New York Knicks when Bill Bradley arrived late in 1967 (drafted in 1965, but not signed right away).

Frazier: “He came the same year I did, but he was a Rhodes scholar. So, he arrived in the middle of the season in the Garden. When Bradley arrived, it was like January. “

Jon Stewart: “Was it difficult for you to accept him as he entered?”

Frazier: “No, we were looking forward to it too: the hoopla, the pageantry.”

Jon Stewart: “Wasn't it jealousy?”

Frazier: “No, this boy can help us.
