Chantelle Cameron and Matchroom Boxing are part of the methods
FORMER untitled women's super-lightweight champion, Chantelle Cameron, is without a promoter.
The 32-year-old's time working with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing came to an official end yesterday (May 1) when the company released a statement on Twitter/X.
Matchroom Boxing can confirm today that we reached an agreement last month to release Chantelle Cameron from her promotional contract.
We would like to wish Chantelle all the best in her future endeavours.

Their two-way split marks the second change in Cameron's career after he announced in February that he would no longer be trained by Jamie Moore and move to Grant Smith's gym in Sheffield. Moore and trainer Nigel Travis worked together to help Cameron to undisputed glory in November 2022 when the Northampton fighter beat Jessica McCaskill.
A new chapter with Grant Smith. I want to express my gratitude to Jamie and Nigel for the great run we have had together. I love them both and will always be grateful for everything they have done for me. pic.twitter.com/rncBPmBYFd

Six months later “Il Capo” would top that by beating Katie Taylor on her own at the 3Arena in Dublin. A career-best performance saw Cameron retain his four titles but in November last year, at the same venue, Taylor got his revenge to level their rivalry at 1-1.
A trilogy bout looked more likely but instead Taylor, 37, decided to face another former foe – Amanda Serrano – in a rematch of their April 2022 match at Madison Square Garden in New York. Their fight will see Taylor defend his super-lightweight belts at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and will be streamed live on Netflix.
Taylor's decision left Cameron needing to look elsewhere for a rival but first he needed a new promoter. Debate News he understands that a decision on his future will be announced soon.
