WNBA player weed smuggler Brittney Griner revealed in an interview with Robin Roberts of ABC News that before she was released in exchange for the most dangerous Russian arms dealer – Viktor Bout, she was forced to write a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“They made me write this book. It was in Russian,” he said. “I had to ask for forgiveness and gratitude from their leader who they call their grandfather. I didn't want to do it, but at the same time I wanted to go home.”
