Steve Kerr Reveals His Angriest Moment At Draymond Green
Steve Kerr has been angered by Draymond Green many times as his coach, but Kerr revealed the moment that angered him the most.
Kerr was asked who Green was most angry about after ten seasons coaching the hotshot on a recent episode of The Dan Le Batard Show.
“There are many examples,” Kerr said with a laugh.
“I think the Jordan Poole incident is certain. Draymond and I are similar in many ways, people probably wouldn't see it from the outside but we are both crazy competitors and we lose our minds to each other, during games, with any disagreements about tactics. But he crossed a line about Jordan and he knew it, he knew it immediately. And it made that season incredibly difficult for everyone. That story has been answered many times, but that was probably the time I was the most angry.”
Since then, Green's violence has continued.
Draymond served a 12-game suspension for hitting Suns center Jusuf Nurkic last season.
He was then suspended indefinitely by the league for brutally grabbing Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert.
Not having Green for so many games in 2023-24 definitely hurts the Warriors.
The team will now have a new look for the 2024-25 season, after adding veterans Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson and De'Anthony Melton.
There is no doubt that Kerr will be looking for Green on the floor to participate in as many as possible, as long as he can control his temper.
