The Iowa Wild signed a goaltender Dylan Ferguson on a one-year contract with the American Hockey League.

Ferguson returns to the AHL after spending last season in the Kontinental Hockey League. He appeared in 29 AHL games over four seasons with Chicago, Henderson, Toronto and Belleville, posting a 15-7-0 record with a 2.56 goals-against average, .915 save percentage and two shutouts.

Ferguson made three career NHL appearances, including a 48-save effort in his first NHL start, Ottawa's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh on March 20, 2023.

The native of Lantzville, BC, was originally selected by Dallas in the seventh round of the 2017 NHL Draft. He was in training camp with the Vancouver Canucks when he tried out.
