Team USA's drunken press conference had no shortage of laughs.

MONTREAL — By the time Max Homa stepped onto the 17th green for the final tee of the day, the Presidents Cup party had already begun.
The contest is over. The US had won. Now, as the players had nothing to do but celebrate, it was time to say drink. Most of the US side had already started that process by the time Homa reached the 17th, passing out tall boys' beers and other, less obvious drinks in aluminum cups.
When Homa reappeared about an hour later at Team USA's victory press conference, the after party full swing.
This, it turns out, is a big tradition of the Sunday evening winners' press conference at golf club events. For one time only throughout the year, golf fans are treated to the golf party life, and it's often quite a show.
On Sunday, the revelry was light. For the first time all week, coolers were wheeled into the press room, and assistant captain Kevin Kisner took his place in the press conference. de facto the guard, handing out ice-cold alcohol as he had done with bottles of water all week. As the players sat down, a whiff of whiskey could be heard in the press room.

1. Betting
Seasoned golf fans will remember that Kevin Kisner and Max Homa made a public bet: If Homa went anywhere, Kisner would have to take his shirt off.
On Sunday morning, Homa is doing well his at the end of the bet on the first hole of the day, lifting his shot from the fairway for an eagle that opens around.
On Sunday evening, a few seconds before he entered the interview room, Kisner passed his charge, tore off his shirt and ran into the center of the American team party naked.
“I can't wait to get back in that club room and run around naked all night,” Kisner told NBC. “Go, Team USA.”
2. Max Homa in Betting
Homa was asked about his thoughts on betting, and he had an interesting exchange of his own.
“Max, I was wondering, how long after you held that gun did you start to think Kevin was paying off his bet?” asked the reporter.
“I mean, like a split second, a second and a half. I looked back, and he was paddling the 9 fairway trying to get away from me, I think,” Homa said laughing as all his teammates cried. “He left me exactly four minutes before that. I don't blame him.
“Yeah, obviously it's been on my mind all week. I had three markers this week. Another was winning the President's Cup with these boys. The two would have a great time. And third, getting Kis to take off his shirt. So I went three out of three.”
3. 'Say!!!'
American team captain Jim Furyk found himself in hot water earlier this week when a Golfweek the story quoted him telling a reporter, “I'd say, 'Go for it yourself,'” when asked what he thought of US fans fighting for the Internationals' integrity of the Presidents Cup competition.
When that reporter, Adam Schupak, got the microphone again Sunday evening, Furyk wasn't the only one whose eyes lit up.
“SAY IT!!!” Schauffele yelled at Furyk, who chose to explain, instead, that there were no hard feelings between the two sides.
“My favorite part was when – after the first press when we came in, we did our pairs, and I came out, I actually gave you a little punch,” Furyk said with a belly laugh. “Two of my assistants told you to go on your own. That was my favorite.”
4. 'Go F— You, Adam!'
Furyk's assistants did not disappoint him on Sunday either.
After the presser was done, assistant captain Kevin Kisner walked up to Schupak with a smile a mile wide on his face.
“Hey, Adam,” Kisner said. “Go again, your friend.”
The entire room erupted in laughter as Kisner and Schupak enjoyed a heartwarming embrace.
5. The Golf Glove
Amidst the chaos – and in the center of the lectern – sat Scottie Scheffler, who arrived wearing a golf glove and holding a beer in his hand.
When the presser started, Scheffler handed his glove to Morikawa, who began (not quietly) trying to sell the glove to the highest bidder in the crowd.
His audience is a room full of active media, the effort was unsuccessful, but it was a little fun.

6. 'Here is our Mongolia!!!'
Sahith Theegala found himself (unintentionally) in hot water earlier this week when he used the word “Mongolian” to describe a metaphor called “Mongolian Conversion.”
Schauffele, who found Theegala's first snafu very amusing, was in the thick of things with Theegala in the winning machine.
Theegala gave a thoughtful, emotional response about the excitement he had playing for Team USA for the first time, and how he would cherish the memory of playing on this team for the rest of his days. But as soon as he had finished speaking, Schauffele broke into a full voice with laughter.
“Here is our Mongolia!”
7. Finau's declaration of courage
Asked about the night's plans, Tony Finau finally got into the microphone and roared.
“In the wise words of Travis Kelce,” Finau began, before the screams of his teammates made him lose his temper. “You have to fight, to get your right … to party!!!!”
“Only time will tell,” said Finau.
