The most anticipated golf ball launch in 2025 will be the Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x.

Titleist is the leading supplier on the PGA Tour with the Pro V1 offering more distance and feel than the Pro V1x. Both are being redesigned for 2025 and we can expect them to go on sale in February.

Other brands have already introduced new balls including PXG's second new offering and a major update to Taylormade's popular TP5 range.

These are the best new balls announced at the end of 2024 ready for the 2025 season.

The list does not include the launch in early 2024 that includes the Callaway Chrome Tour, which helped Xander Schauffele to two major victories this year.

There will be more to come so keep checking back for all the new golf ball launches in 2025 as they happen.

Titleist 2025 Pro V1 & Pro V1x

Prototypes of the new Titleist 2025 Pro V1 and Pro V1x are being tested with the goal of the balls going on sale in early 2025.

The updated Pro V1x plays slower than the 2024 version but retains the spin, giving you less 'click' according to early reports.

Titleist introduced the 'enhanced' range of 2024 balls earlier this year but they expect extensive improvements for the new 2025 range.

You will be able to order the new Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x here.

PXG Xtreme Tour and PXG Xtreme Tour X

The new balls from PXG are the brand's second launch and both are aimed at taking on Titleist's Pro VX1 range of tour-level balls.

The brand has gone because of the improved durability of the new balls.

The Tour is built for distance and has low spin for those looking for more distance.

The Tour X offers a firmer feel, more spin and a higher trajectory to improve the ball's stopping distance.

“The launch of our first golf ball was a huge success,” said PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons. “Now, we're taking it to the next level with the introduction of PXG Tour and Tour X golf balls.

“With these options, golfers can be confident and choose the ball that best suits their playing style and performance goals.”

The balls are available in white and yellow and you can buy them here.

Taylormade TP5 and TP5X Stripe

Taylormade TP5 and TP5X are not new launches but new versions.

Football fans have been asking for a Stripe version and the product is finally here.

The strokes, which look a bit like a cricket or baseball, help guide drives and putts and improve short games by helping control the greenside.

The new TaylorMade TP5 and TP5X Stripe have a larger alignment section designed to provide more putting feedback to help you on the green.

The lines are labeled 360° ClearPath Alignment and help guide your shots off the tee and green.

Rory McIlroy chooses the TP5, whose design improves ball speed for golfers who want more speed on the clubface. The balls have low spin at great distance and excellent control due to the soft feel.
