NHL Injuries: Sabres, Avs, Blue Jackets, Oilers, Sharks, Leafs, Canuck and Jets

Paul Hamilton: Buffalo Sabers coach Lindy Ruff said defenseman Rasmus Dahlin has stopped practice to rehab and should not be bothered today.

Meghan Angley: The Colorado Avalanche placed forward Miles Wood on IR with an upper body injury.

Mark Scheig: Columbus Blue Jackets coach Dean Evason said Cole Sillinger will be in tonight's lineup. Forward Yegor Chinakhov is doubtful tonight.

NHL Injuries: Hurricanes, Avs, Stars, Red Wings, Wild, Predators, Sharks, Leafs and Golden Knights

Derek Van Diest: Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman has missed the past two games with an undisclosed injury but could return at some point in his three-game road trip.

“I feel good,” Hyman said after Thursday's practice. “Obviously I'm not playing right now so I'm getting better every day and trying to get back there. I don't really have a timeline, I go on a journey and take it day by day.”

San Jose Sharks PR: The San Jose Sharks placed forward Barclay Goodrow on IR and reinstated forward Ethan Cardwell.

Max Miller: Sharks forward Mikael Granlund has missed the past two games with an upper-body injury and will be a game-time decision.

TSN's Mark Masters: Bobby McMann was the latest Toronto Maple Leafs forward to be injured – he left Wednesday's game. Coach Craig Berube said McMann is day-to-day and needs more testing.

The Maple Leafs will practice this afternoon and that will give a better indication to Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies.

Also out for the Leafs are Max Domi (lower body), Max Pacioretty (lower body), David Kampf (lower body) and Calle Jarnkrok (groin), with Ryan Reaves suspended (two games left).

Irfaan Gaffar: It sounds like Vancouver Canucks defenseman Filip Hronek will be out for a while with an upper body injury.

At this time it does not look like Hronek will need surgery.

NHL Rumors: The David Jiricek Saga and the Ottawa Senators

Mike McIntrye: I've asked about forward Mark Scheifele but the Winnipeg Jets haven't said anything. He did not face the game anymore and with each passing game, it is evident that there is more going on for him. Not even close to 100%.
